Welcome to SawDietitian! My mission is straightforward: to teach and inspire you to use food to live a healthier life. I am not an owner of any courses or doctor appointments. Instead, I focus on giving you usable, digestible knowledge about diet and nutrition so you can choose more intelligently select food that is right for you.

I have coached many on their health and nutrition, including people from all walks of life. Whether it’s helping people manage their weight and increasing their energy levels or improving digestion and overall well-being, I have personally witnessed how the right nutrition can be a game changer when it comes to individuals and their health. But good nutrition need not be a complicated or daunting subject. It needs to be easy to understand, relatable and science-based.

The world of diet and health is a confusing place these days. Between so many diet trends, health myths and conflicting information, it’s tough to know what to believe. My approach is different. I stick with the clear, consistent, research-based advice. My goal is to aid you in filtering through the noise and finding your way to an eating style that is reasonable and nutritious.

The goal of this blog is to communicate what I have learned in an informative and palatable way. Whether you want to lose weight, improve your digestion, manage a medical condition, or simply learn to eat healthier, you can find practical tips and advice here. I talk about whole, real foods that nourish your body and mind, NOT about fad diets or sweeping changes. I want to show you how to have a positive relationship with food, one that takes care of your entire self.

And I know that everyone’s body and life is different. That’s why I believe in an individualized system of nutrition. And there is no single diet that works for everyone. This is why you have resources and information here that are not one size fits all. I give you what I can, and you pick and choose what fits your needs so you can make the decisions that impact you in the best way possible.
